Dr Ashton is a general dermatologist
with a special interest in dermatological surgery.
He has been a consultant since 1984,
and has wide experience in surgical techniques over the past
25 years.
His routine practice includes

Skin cancer surgery includes excisional surgery
Basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanomas. |

Removal of benign
skin lesions by excision, curettage and cautery
or shave biopsy such as benign moles, warts, sebaceous
cysts, skin tags etc.
Whole body mole checks for melanoma and other skin cancers. |
Dr Ashton generally carries out most
surgical procedures on a ‘one stop’ basis, i.e.
the surgery is carried out at the first consultation.
